"The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is a government agency under the Prime Minister’s Office with an objective to promote Thailand’s MICE industry. The agency collaborates with the public and private sector to inspire greater confidence and interest in Thailand as a preferred MICE destination."

เมื่อเวลา ๑๔.๐๐ น. วันที่ ๑๙ สิงหาคม ๖๕ ที่ห้องประชุม โรงแรมเซ้นทารา แกรนด์แอนด์รีสอร์ท หัวหิน นายกรณ์ จาติกวณิช หน.พรรคกล้า ได้พบปะกับกลุ่มชาวต่างชาติที่มาอยู่ในเขตเมืองหัวหิน เมืองชะอำ เพื่อรับฟังปัญหาต่างๆ ภายในแต่ละท้องถิ่น
สิ่งหนึ่งที่เขานำเสนอมานั้นก็คือ การพัฒนาของรัฐในพื้นที่ท้องถิ่นจะต้องคำนึงถึง ความเป็นธรรมชาติที่มีอยู่ เสน่ห์ความเก่าแก่ วัฒนธรรม งานประเพณี เพราะในส่วนเหล่านี้มันคือจุดขาย จุดดึงดูดทางจิตให้กับพวกเขาที่เข้ามาอยู่แบบครอบครัว และชั่วชีวิต เพราะฉะนั้นแล้ว ภาครัฐในท้องถิ่นก็จะต้องตระหนักและรับฟังด้วยเช่นกัน ในการพัฒนา ชะอำ หัวหิน มันก็ยังเป็นจุดขายทางการท่องเที่ยวแบบความเป็นธรรมชาติที่ดีทั้งชายหาด ทะเล โบราณสถานวัด ตนเองและครอบครัวก็โตจากที่หัวหิน ชะอำ วิ่งเล่น เดินเล่น และมีบ้านพักอยู่ เพราะฉะนั้นการที่จะพัฒนาทำอะไรแล้วบางเรื่องมันต้องมีการจัดทำ "ประชาพิจารณ์" กับผู้คนที่อยู่เสียก่อน

สิ่งหนึ่งที่คุณกรณ์นำเสนอ คือการพัฒนาของภาครัฐในพื้นที่ท้องถิ่นจะต้องคำนึงถึง ความเป็นธรรมชาติที่มีอยู่ เสน่ห์ความเก่าแก่ วัฒนธรรม งานประเพณีของหัวหิน เพราะส่วนนี้มันคือจุดขาย จุดที่ดึงดูด ที่ส่งผลต่อจิตใจกับผู้คนที่มาพักผ่อน เมื่อเขาได้ตามที่หวัง เขาจะรู้สึกประทับใจ และบอกต่อ
สำหรับในเขตเมืองชะอำ หัวหิน อุตสาหกรรมเรื่องการดูแลสุขภาพ ตนมองว่าเป็นโอกาสที่ดี เนื่องจากชาวต่างชาติ นิยมใช้ชีวิตหลังเกษียณอยู่ที่หัวหิน - ชะอำ และจะดียิ่งกว่า หากการขอต่ออนุญาตหรือวีซ่า ทำได้ง่ายขึ้น คาดว่า คงจะมีชาวต่างชาติ ที่เกษียณอายุมาอาศัยอยู่อีกมาก
